Tamper-evident labeling system HERMA 362E TE
The tamper-evident labeler has been developed to meet the requirements of the Falsified Medicine Directive 2011/62/EU.
The system, when integrated for serialisation, prints a unique 2D code and serial number to each carton with a vision system that verifies and stores the codes. A tamper-evident label is applied to one or both sides of the pack and the secured packs exit the machine sealed and with a unique identity. This means that the product can then be traced at any point during the increasingly complex worldwide supply chain for pharmaceutical products. Tamper-evident labels are a legal requirement forming a vital component in product security for pharmaceutical cartons.
A wide range of pack sizes can be handled at speeds of up to 150-300 cartons per minute depending on product size and design. The HERMA 362E TE can be installed with a TIJ or laser coders, as well as a wide range of track and trace systems to produce fully serialized and inspected cartons.
