Continuous Production Without Downtime

Two unwinders and an integrated label buffer enable a continuous labeling process without machine downtime caused by roll changes.
Continuous production: The labeling machine continues to run even when the roll is coming to an end, allowing the roll to be changed during operation.
Simple manual web connection: The new label web is conveniently connected to the outgoing web via a splicing table.
Early change notification: Integrated photoelectric sensors detect nearly empty rolls and alert the operator in a timely manner via a signal light.
More time for roll changes: Thanks to the label buffer, the splicing process can be prepared and carried out without stress before the material is completely used up.
Efficient solution for higher system availability: Reduces downtime, simplifies roll changes, and supports a stable production process.

Note: The additional investment in a HERMA EasyCutter is also worthwhile for an uninterrupted process with seamless changes. This is because the EasyCutter allows you to vacuum up the empty carrier tape and shred it into small pieces. The scraps are automatically collected and can then be recycled. There is no longer any need to manually remove the wound-up empty carrier tape. With a splicer and the HERMA EasyCutter, downtime caused by roll changes can always be reduced to a minimum—and in the vast majority of cases, even avoided entirely.
